Pete's Dragon is an upcoming American live actoin movie circulated by Walt Disney Pictures. It will be coordinated by David Lowery, and delivered by Jim Whitaker. It will be a change of the 1977 film, initially discharged on November 3, 1977.[1][2] In March 2013, Disney declared a revamp of the film to be composed by David Lowery and Toby Halbrooks from the Sundance hit Ain't Them Bodies Saints. It will rehash the center story of a revered Disney family film and won't be a musical.

Filming began on January 26, 2015 in New Zealand. The film is set for an August 12, 2016 release.
